Don't Steal My Eggs Cash Guide: How to Earn It and What It Buys

Don't Steal My Eggs Cash guide: every verified way to earn it, the multipliers that scale it, and what it buys, from treadmills to rebirths.

In Don't Steal My Eggs, Cash is the currency your base earns for you — and the one you keep pouring back in. Pets placed in your base pay Cash continuously, the game's own description promises your animals keep earning while you're offline, and every treadmill, trail, base upgrade and rebirth you buy makes that same income tick faster. Here are the verified ways to earn Cash, what it actually buys, and the multipliers that scale it.

The chase behind your income: every egg you defend hatches into a pet that earns the Cash this guide covers.

How to get Cash

The most direct path takes a couple of minutes and then repeats itself:

  1. Claim the free shop items. A fresh account finds free things in the shop: 1,000 Cash, a training potion and a free animal. Place the animal in your base and it starts earning immediately — one new player's free animal came out as two lizards already generating Cash. The gift pot sits at the very bottom of the shop, above the paid options; some pots also have a 50-Robux version next to the free one, and the free claim is all this path needs.
  2. Catch thieves to win eggs, hatch them, place the pets. Catching the player who is stealing your egg wins you an egg (more on defending your base). Eggs hatch on a short timer — around 30–40 seconds in observed sessions — and the pet that pops out joins your base as another income stream (hatching basics here). The payouts scale fast: a turtle placed with 65 dollars paid 78, a hatched koala paid 1k, a T-Rex earned 16,500 per second, and one late-game setup of best pets reached 6 million per second.
  3. Claim playtime rewards. Timed playtime rewards hand out Cash and cash-paying pets while you play — early rewards have included an owl, a giraffe and direct Cash alongside them — so claim each tier as it unlocks.
  4. Let it run offline. The official description states that your animals earn Cash offline, so the income you set up keeps flowing between sessions.

It's also worth a quick look at the codes page for any current freebies. Beyond that, everything rides on the pets in your base: more and better pets means more Cash per tick.

Cash sources compared

SourceWhat you doWhat it pays
Pets in your baseCatch thieves to win eggs, hatch them, and place the petsContinuous Cash, the main income; higher-rarity pets pay proportionally more
Free shop itemsClaim the 1,000 Cash, free animal and gift pot at the bottom of the shopA starter pile of Cash plus your first earning animals
Playtime rewardsKeep playing and claim each timed tierCash and cash-bearing pets at set intervals
Offline earningsLog off with animals in your baseCash keeps accruing while you're away
Roblox PlusPlay with an active Roblox Plus membership+15% Cash, per the game's official listing

Pet quality is the lever that moves all of this: the same loop that wins you a 65-dollar turtle later wins you pets worth millions per second, which is what makes the loop repeatable instead of a one-time bonus.

What Cash is used for

Four sinks are verified in play, and they feed into each other:

Cash sinkWhat it doesObserved prices
Treadmill (training) upgradesRaises your training speed so you can catch faster thieves and win better eggsFirst treadmill unlocks for 10 Cash, then the silver treadmill; later tiers cost 10K, then 10 QA, up to roughly 100 Qi
TrailsExtra speed for chasing down thievesThe green trail is affordable early; one trail shop listing starts at 100K
RebirthsConsumes your Cash and returns a permanent cash multiplierOne rebirth is offered at 1 million, with costs climbing from there
Base upgrades and expansionsAdds a visible cash multiplier and more room to place petsOne early upgrade drains your whole balance and grants a x4 cash multiplier

Treadmill upgrades are the main recurring spend — you will constantly be saving for the next tier. A workable order: buy the first treadmill for 10 Cash when the tutorial offers it, keep stepping up treadmills and trails whenever the next thief outpaces you (speed training details), and drop your full balance into a rebirth or base upgrade the moment you can afford one, because those multiply everything your pets earn afterwards.

Verified Cash multipliers

  • Rebirths. Rebirthing consumes all your Cash but permanently multiplies pet income. Observed multipliers climb from x4 in the first rebirths to x128, x256, x512 and x1,000 as you go again — see the rebirth guide for the full loop.
  • Base cash-multiplier upgrades. Base upgrades bought with Cash raise a visible multiplier — one early purchase grants x4 Cash — and they stack with rebirth multipliers on the same pet income.
  • Pet-collection bonus. Completing each boss earns a training multiplier, and collecting all of the pets for each egg adds a cash multiplier on top.
  • Cash potions. These consumables are equipped alongside training and luck potions. One player who equipped cash potions with their best pets jumped to 33 trillion per second, and another activated a cash boost next to a luck boost and watched earnings go wild.
  • Per-world cash boosts. Each world's upgrade area sells a permanent cash boost — but for gems, not Cash (see below).
  • Roblox Plus. The official listing grants +15% Cash; eligibility and stacking details are covered on the Roblox Plus cash bonus page.

Keep Robux and gems out of the free Cash loop

Not everything that looks like a Cash upgrade spends Cash:

  • Robux purchases: shop packs (starter, ultra, exclusives), shop eggs like the magma dragon egg, and gamepasses all cost Robux. They can shortcut the grind, but they are not part of the free earning loop — see the gamepasses page if you're considering them.
  • Gems and diamonds: traveling to a new world is gated by gems, the per-world cash boosts are bought with gems, and a permanent boost near the shop costs 500 diamonds. None of these touch your Cash balance.

The free loop stands entirely on its own: pets earn Cash, Cash buys speed and multipliers, and the multipliers make the same pets earn more. Don't Steal My Eggs updates every Saturday, and the prices and rates above are the ones observed in actual play — so recheck them after a major update before saving toward a specific tier.
