Don't Steal My Eggs Zone Progression: Zone Order and Unlock Guide

The verified zone route through Don't Steal My Eggs: Green World, Desert Island, Ice Kingdom and Spirit Blossom, with each unlock requirement explained.

Don't Steal My Eggs moves you through its worlds in one straight line: Green World → Desert Island → Ice Kingdom → Spirit Blossom. Every transition uses the same unlock rule — catch the whole thief lineup in your current zone, with that zone's champion as the final catch, then take the escape/travel step the game offers once the biome is complete.

The first three zones each end in a named champion with its own badge: the T-Rex in Green World, the Sphinx in Desert Island, and the Yeti in Ice Kingdom — and you reach the Yeti by catching Santa, the last thief in that lineup. Spirit Blossom sits directly after Ice Kingdom but was added to the game after launch, and past it the game counts further levels without naming them, so Spirit Blossom is the honest end of the known map. Brand new to the game? The beginner guide covers your first session before you worry about world two.

How you unlock the next zone

  1. Work through the zone's thief lineup. Each zone posts a queue of thief animals that raid your base. Catch one and you morph into it — "they try to steal my egg and then I steal their identity," as one player put it. Every lineup ends on its champion, and that champion catch is what the badges celebrate.
  2. Complete the biome. The champion morph fires the unlock message: the Sphinx run got "You have completed the biome. We are now sphinx," and the T-Rex run called it the same way ("I have completed the biome. I turned into a T-Rex"). One player states the rule plainly: "now that we've beaten everything in this world, we should be able to go to the ice kingdom, the third world in this game."
  3. Hatch and place the champion egg. The champion catch also awards its egg — a T-Rex egg hatched in about 30 seconds in one run, the Sphinx egg took about 2 minutes. Players hatch and place it for the cash income before moving on. The game's own unlock trigger is the biome-completion message; travel isn't shown locking behind the egg (one player was already "sending… to World 2" while deciding whether to open the T-Rex egg first).
  4. Take the escape/travel step, then arrive. After the biome completes, the escape option opens: "escape Green World into the desert island. Traveling to desert island," and later "we could escape desert island and into the ice kingdom." Arriving is the unlock moment — "we unlocked the second world in the game. And it's a nice little desert." Ice Kingdom to Spirit Blossom follows the same pattern: catch Santa, become and place the Yeti, then travel ("I passed from Ice Kingdom to Spirit Blossom").

Speed: what to train before each attempt

Champions don't fall over at low speed — each zone displays what it expects right on screen. A Yeti attempt showed "12.9 QI recommended," and one run got a blunt "It says you need 4T speed" at a stretch it couldn't pass. These are the labels the game prints as you go, not a neat official table, and the numbers climb steeply between worlds — so plan to train between attempts. The loop that raises speed:

  • Treadmills — upgrade with cash for more speed; diamond, frozen and demon tiers all show up in the runs.
  • Trails — buy faster trails in the trail shop, from the early green trail up to legendary and the Divine Trail.
  • Rebirths — consume cash to multiply it (×4 up to ×256 in the runs), which funds the next treadmill and trail. More in the rebirth guide.
  • Pets — equip your best; each completed boss grants a train multi, and collecting a full pet set grants a cash multi. Details in the pets guide.
  • Base upgrade — a ×4 cash multiplier that keeps the whole loop funded; the cash guide covers earning faster.

If you're starting fresh, it's worth grabbing the free items on the codes page before you begin training — early code drops have included starter cash and potions. For a dedicated speed-building routine, see the speed training guide.

The zones in order

1. Green World — the starting world (T-Rex)

You begin as a chicken and climb the lineup — frog, bat, tiger, giraffe, whale and onward — until the final catch turns you into the T-Rex and completes the biome. The T-Rex is the game's First Zone Champion, straight from the badge text: "Discover T-Trex — Earned By Defeating The First Zone Champion." One stat snapshot put that badge at 75.4% of players, tagged easy — most people who play get through World 1. When it opens, escape to Desert Island. Zone-specific details live on the first zone page.

2. Desert Island — World 2 (Sphinx)

The desert lineup runs snail → capybara → ostrich → snake → golem → dragon, ending when the Sphinx morph lands and the biome-complete message plays. Its badge reads "Discover Sphinx — Earned By Defeating The 2nd Zone Champion," and the same snapshot had it at 17.9% of players, tagged hard — this is where the speed wall starts to bite. Escape onward to Ice Kingdom. The second zone page has the full breakdown.

3. Ice Kingdom — World 3 (Yeti, via Santa)

A longer lineup — a hamster, polar bear, seal, snowman, shark, gorilla and mammoth — leads to the final thief, Santa. Catch him and you become the Yeti: "I caught Santa and I became the Yeti monster." That makes the Yeti the Third Zone Champion per its badge, "Discover YETI — Earned By Defeating The Third Zone Champion," which sat at just 0.2% of players on the snapshots — the rarest of the three by a wide margin. Expect the recommended-speed label and a few failed chases before the catch lands. See the third zone page and the Crazy Santa page for the final thief.

4. Spirit Blossom — the zone added after launch

Spirit Blossom wasn't there at launch: an early run escaped the Ice Kingdom and found only a "coming soon" sign beyond it. A later run shows what now sits there — Spirit Blossom, reached the same way as every other zone. What no run shows is its champion or lineup, and past it players count further levels ("there are two more levels") with no names on screen. Treat Spirit Blossom as the current end of the reliable route and expect the tail of the map to change with patches — the updates page tracks what's new.
