Don't Steal My Eggs: CRAZY SANTA Champion Encounter Guide
CRAZY SANTA is the final champion of the Ice Kingdom, Don't Steal My Eggs' third world. Reach him at the end of the thief lineup, win the chase, and claim the Yeti morph, Yeti egg and Discover YETI badge.
CRAZY SANTA is the final champion encounter of the Ice Kingdom, the third world in Don't Steal My Eggs. He waits at the very end of the zone's egg-thief lineup, and you complete the encounter by chasing him down and catching him before he escapes with your egg — there is no separate fight or turn-in step. The catch itself instantly turns you into the Yeti morph and grants the Yeti egg, and it is the defeat the [Discover YETI] badge tracks.
Where to find CRAZY SANTA
The Ice Kingdom only opens once you have beaten everything in the previous world, so finishing the second zone is the hard prerequisite. Once you arrive, the zone displays its boss lineup — hamster, polar bear, seal, shark, gorilla, mammoth and, at the end, the yeti — and you stop its egg thieves one after another: Frosty the Snowman, Evil Elf and the rest.
CRAZY SANTA is the last thief in that lineup, the zone's strongest. Recorded runs call him "Final Santa" and "evil Santa"; the game's own boss rewards list names him "crazy Santa", and one player sizes him up as "the OP of this place". He visibly carries a snowy egg in his hand.
One caution: the same run that ends with the champion meets a lighter Santa-like thief right at the start of the zone, stopped easily on the way through. The run that grants the Yeti is the final, strongest Santa at the end — don't assume the first Santa you see is the champion.
How to prepare for the chase
- Unlock the Ice Kingdom by clearing the previous world completely, as covered in the zone progression guide.
- Build speed before racing: treadmill upgrades, rebirths and placed earners all feed your speed. In one recorded run, a placed Hydra alone added 295 trillion per second — see the speed training guide for the full loop.
- Treat the displayed speed labels as advice, not gates. Early Ice Kingdom thieves show values like "4T speed", and one thief marked "363 quadrillion recommended" was still stopped at 118 quadrillion in a recorded run. No recommended speed is shown for CRAZY SANTA himself, so speed is the safe investment — build as much as you reasonably can.
How to catch him
- Work through the zone's thief lineup in order; stopping each one moves you toward the end where the champion waits.
- When the final Santa appears with his snowy egg, the encounter is a pure chase: he runs, you run, and there is no auto-run for the pursuit. The auto-play toggle at the top left of the screen does the chasing by itself and can be left running — one player leaned on it for exactly this.
- Close the distance before he escapes. If he pulls away, you lose that attempt and he gets away with the egg — but failure is explicitly a pause, not a wall: "we can't catch Santa, but we'll catch him in a bit", as one player put it before trying again.
- The moment you catch him, the encounter is complete. The transformation happens instantly — "I caught Santa and I became the Yeti monster" — with no extra claim or turn-in step.
Rewards and the Discover YETI badge
Catching CRAZY SANTA grants two things immediately:
- The Yeti morph — the final transformation in the Ice Kingdom lineup, which you can then place at your base.
- The Yeti egg — described by the player who won it as "the best egg in the game"; in one run it hatched into a pet earning 3 trillion per second. See hatching and the pets guide for how eggs turn into earners.
Completing the encounter also corresponds to the Discover YETI badge, whose stated unlock condition is "Earned By Defeating The Third Zone Champion." A third-party Roblox stats page listed it at 0.2% rarity (the share of all players who have earned it, labelled "Unmöglich" — Impossible) with 304 players earning it the previous day, so it is actively granted. Those figures are a snapshot from that stats page, not live in-game numbers.
No rewards beyond the Yeti morph and the Yeti egg are shown for the catch, so don't count on a bonus payout on top.
Repeatability and what comes next
Losing the chase is a normal part of the encounter and you can retry as soon as you're ready — that retry loop is the confirmed repeatable path to the catch. Whether CRAZY SANTA can be fought a second time after he has already been caught is not shown in any recorded run, so plan around the first catch being the one that matters.
With the champion downed, the zone is done: the run that caught him moved straight on from the Ice Kingdom to the Spirit Blossom area, with one more level beyond it. For the rest of the zone — its thief lineup, eggs and treadmill tiers — continue with the third zone guide.
